Konsep Taqwa dalam Al-Qur’An: Analisis Tafsir Tematik

Kajian tentang taqwa sering direduksi menjadi nasihat moral yang bersifat individual, padahal Al-Qur’an menempatkannya sebagai kesadaran teologis, etika sosial, dan dasar pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konsep taqwa dalam Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan tafsir tematik dengan menelaah makna linguistik, derivasi, ayat-ayat pokok, karakteristik muttaqin, serta relevansinya bagi kehidupan modern dan pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode tafsir maudhu’i. Data primer bersumber dari ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an tentang taqwa dan kitab tafsir klasik-kontemporer, terutama Tafsir al-Tabari, Ibn Kathir, al-Qurthubi, Fi Zhilal al-Qur’an, Tafsir al-Azhar, dan Tafsir al-Misbah, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari jurnal ilmiah, buku metodologi tafsir, serta kajian psikologi dan pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa taqwa berasal dari akar w-q-y yang bermakna menjaga atau melindungi diri; secara Qur’ani, makna ini berkembang menjadi kesadaran aktif yang mengintegrasikan iman, ibadah, keadilan, pengendalian diri, kepedulian sosial, dan tanggung jawab moral. Perbandingan tafsir menunjukkan bahwa mufassir klasik menekankan ketaatan normatif dan keselamatan eskatologis, sedangkan mufassir kontemporer memperluas taqwa ke ranah transformasi sosial, pendidikan, dan kesadaran etis publik. Kesimpulannya, taqwa bukan sekadar rasa takut kepada Allah, melainkan paradigma hidup yang membentuk moral consciousness dan karakter manusia dalam relasi spiritual, sosial, dan pendidikan.
